The new Purple60

Purple60 relaunched on October 20th, 2025, with a new mission to help people join the automotive hobby with free information, tutorials, and more. Purple60 also wants to set the example of a good automotive lifestyle brand by staying active in local communities and staying heavily committed to community outreach.

Purple60 Early Access is the current state of our website, we're still building and tidying up. Let us know what you think by going here. We hope to have the website complete by January 1st, 2026, in the meantime take a look around, leave us some feedback.

Who we are

Purple60 is a nonprofit automotive lifestyle brand committed to making automotive culture accessible through education, outreach, and open information sharing. By bridging passion with purpose, we serve as both a resource and a role model for community-driven involvement

Our mission

Purple60’s mission is to make the automotive industry more accessible through education, outreach, and collaboration. We lead by example, remaining active in the communities we serve and fostering a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and purpose.

The Mountains

We use these "Mountains" in a lot of our design language; these are a symbol of growth and moving "up". We believe they add a unique element to our deisgn language while holding a powerful meaning.

Our history

We started on March 1st, 2020 in Lincoln, AR. What started as just a small idea has grown substantially. We wanted to set ourselves apart from other car clubs, with a completely different marketing campaign, free-to-join system and very little restrictions to become a member.

In January of 2022 Purple60 launched the "We love supporting the communities we operate in" campaign. This enabled Purple60 to become a community outreach program as much as it was a car club, in some cases being more of a community outreach program rather than a car club.

On December 6th, 2022 Purple60 rebranded itself as a "hobby brand, focused on community outreach". Removing the Car Club, and making the Car Club its own thing.

On September 28th, 2023 Purple60 officially registered as a Nonprofit Corporation with the State of Arkansas; legally changing its name from "Purple60" to "Purple60 Corp." This also led to the founding of The Purple Group to takeover control of NoMoreTread, PurpleRC, and LATF as they are for-profit brands.

Purple60 was unable to acquire funding, among other things, for our 2025 endeavours. This led to taking a step back in early 2025 and putting a lot of our projects on hold. We soft relaunched as NoMoreTread on June 21st and tried that for a few months as we decided what to make of the brand. We decided to return to our roots as an automotive brand but with a committment to communtiy outreach. On October 17th, 2025 it was decided to return the name to "Purple60" but "NoMoreTread" and the "NMT" logo would be used by Purple60 as their slogan which it originally was.
